Sique Sique Sputnik - Live 2016

I’ll always have a softspot for SSS especially since they sound more futuristic than anything else 2020. Can you imagine what cyberpunk would have been like if it had kicked off in this day and age instead of the 80’s and had the same energy as steampunk. This line up sounds great and maybe better than the original. The arrangements are great.

For those that don’t know SSS was formed by Tony James who was also in Generation X with Billy Idol. Tony put a band together that look like a great out there band from the future without a song and most of the band had only just learned to play. They also had two drummers. Tony took advantage of EMI and got a massive multi million pound contract. One of the few to screw the music industry. Bravo Tony! Long live CYBERPUNK…
