PWK Amplifier P3

Got a few more pieces together here for the PWK amplifier with electronic crossover. This is the basic design. Now for the hard part to start wiring things up. The rca jacks are for the metters and on off switch/vol control.

To recap. PWK designed this amp in 1946. It does not use traditional output transformers but rather a clever two way electronic crossover. This was used on the 1st Klipschorn which had a 12” Jensen A12PM and a Western Electric 555 on the HF… This system was used to celebrate the end of WW2 at the Hope airport. The Klipsch museum will recreate this part in the same WW2 era hanger as a fundraiser. I hope to have this complted in time.
