PWK Amplifier P2

This is my overdue post. In the Klipsch archives we found a push pull 6a5g/2a3 amplifier design along with a published article. This also had a crossover included instead of traditiional output transformers. Intact Audio gifted all the iron for this project so thank you Dave Slagle. The speaker was Klipschorn #1 which featured a Jensen A12PM(if you have one to donate please contact me) and the legendary Western Electric 555 on an early PWK HF horn. How early try 1946. This system was used in a WW2 hanger in Hope, AR at a party to celebrate the end of WW2.

This is my first piece this ambitious. It is a gift to the Klipsch Museum. The chassis is about the right time period for this project as are the meters and bakalite knob. I ordered the front panel and top plate from FrontPanel Express. It was a learning experience but will be better next time. I only just started mounting parts. More to follow.
