Those crazy compactrons are super cheap. This one is interesting but takes a ton of juice to be usuable. Thomas Mayer posted a schemartic using it as a spud around 1300v. It has also been used as a driver for 211s. I bought 5 for $25 so couldn’t resist. Not sure I’ll ever have the cojones to do anything with them but they are super cool.
