DIY 1625 Triode Update

I love the way this amplifier looks. I told Chris it just didn’t sound right so we made a few changes and we gave it a good run over the weekend and last night. It now sounds superb and am so happy with this heavy lil guy. The power transformers and chokes are potted from some old HP test gear. The rectifiers are mercury vapor RCA 816, power tube 1625 triode wired, and 6J5 drivers which are half a 6SN7. The green glow under them are LED for bias not trying to replicate that cheese ball new mcintosh look…
