#1 Klipschorn Rides Again

The Klipsch Museum had the #1 Klipschorn prototype from 1945. The woofer we found on ebay was a Jensen A12PM and the HF featured a Western Electric 555. We also had some articles and schematics from PWK describing a 6a5g push pull amplifier with a custom electronic crossover. So we did what any rational soul would do we built it. The help we employed was Jim Hunter, Chris Hornbeck, and Dave Slagle of intact audio. This moment was years in the making. I got to play all manner of tunes but Abba Zabba by Beefheart sounded superb as did some afro pop I got to play. Good times.
