Music For Maniacs brings us this oddity from Japan called Oboreta Ebi No Kenshi Houkokusyo or Autopsy Report Of A Drowned Shrimp. I've always been into things different not sure why. This fits in with what I've been listening to this week SnakeFinger, Renaldo And The Loaf, Residents, STUMP, and Mike Dillon Band.
They dress up like giant prawns to perform avant garde funk jazz crazedness. These guys are nuck'n futs. If they ever play SXSW I will be there.
They must have some killer shrooms in Osaka.
These two shows are interesting.
It makes me happy to know there are bands out there doing what they want and having a blast. I guess they give new meaning to the term shrimping.
