Experience Music HQ Visit
I just returned from a quick trip to Experience Music HQ. Jeffery and family are wonderful people and great hosts. Thanks for having me in your home Jeffery and Lisa. The company was top notch and the audio porn was off the chart with extra large horns and custom tube amps.
For some reason every time I visit Experience Music I do not have my real camera with me so these are just iPhone snaps. This is just as well because I don't want to give away any upcoming post on Hi-Fi Heroin. I was lucky enough to see some projects in progress in Jeffery's shop and the thing that always impresses me is the EM design and quality of craftsmanship. Superb.
Check out the cool tube glow. The 75tl Eimac tube amps are something I could become very addicted to.
This is what it was like hanging out and listening to music at the Experience Music HQ. Great music great coffee and basking in multi color tube glow. The 301 was spinning music until about 2:30 am. I took a stack of vinyl and also go to hear some great new music from the EM archives. I've heard some Fat Possum before but Jeffery's picks were right up my alley. Must have a few of these Fat Possum releases.
I do not do audio reviews as I don't speak that language. All I can say is I had no complaints and could live with this system for a very long time. For god sake man you sit in the horn and the tube gear is high art...... Heaven.
