Dope From Hope - Room Acoustics

I've been exploring the world of proper room acoustics. What if we could build an audio room from scratch? What is the smallest optimal room? Not many clear answers on the web but found many comments on the subject from PWK. PWK considered the room to be second only to loudspeakers in factors to getting accurate sound reproduction.
